Jeff Roberts, founder and chief technology architect of Surfrat Internet Consulting, has over ten years of comprehensive web development experience, involving a broad variety of web projects. Past clients include Charles Schwab, GTE, the US Navy and the office of the San Diego District Attorney.

Jeff Roberts is proficient in various programming languages such as PERL, Java, CGI, C, TCL, TK, HTML and various UNIX, Linux and NT scripting languages. His experience also covers advanced internet and web concepts; socket programming, web client programming, NNTP news servers, SMTP EMAIL servers, user tracking and validating, SQL databases, parsing forms, usage logging, MIME formats and data architect for SQL databases.

His surfrat.com site features several financial sites such as hotportfolios.com, a paid subscription site with thousands of subscribers, offering online portfolio management, profit/loss and performance data and daily portfolio and market updates sent to email or pager.
